The Unseen Academicals - Terry Pratchett

The Unseen Academicals

This is the 37th book from the Discworld and I have read every single one of them, most of them more than once. I was not sure what to expect, because the one before (Nation) left me quite bewildered. But with Unseen Academicals Terry Pratchett is back to his usual perspicacious analysis of the human nature.

It is a book about football, not! It is a book about belonging. About where you belong to because of who you are, where you are and what you are. Mercy Thompson Series
Written by bomaus

Mercy Thompson, the heroin of the series, is not exactly normal. Besides from being a mechanic, she turns into a coyote from time to time. Her next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Complete waste of money and time!

Elvis, now a vampire, the heroin is a blond, not too clever waitress named  Sookie, the series is ideal for readers who like their vampire fiction light, humorous, and fast-paced. You definitely should read the books in order. Each one is a about a closed plot, but the main story and the characters are developed during the series. Here is the order:
